Finding Your Way Around Analytics in Clinch Talent: Networks
In the same way that you may wish to see where, geographically, your campaign traffic is coming from to gauge how well it is resonating with its target audience, it’s useful to have some insight into which companies are sending traffic your way, too.
For example, perhaps you have recently launched a graduate recruitment campaign. Knowing which colleges and universities your content is reaching, and having some insight into how students are interacting with the campaign will allow you to evaluate the effectiveness of both the content itself, as well as how it’s being distributed.
In Clinch Talent, Network Analytics provide that information.
Accessing Your Networks Report
In the top or left menu, go to Reports > Web Campaigns and click into the relevant campaign. Then, click on the Networks tab.
Here, you will see a bar chart depicting the various networks that have delivered people to your campaign, as well as how many people from each network have viewed your content. Below the graph, the same information is presented in table form, alongside stats on:
- The number of campaign pages viewed by visitors from each network
- Where the last visit to your campaign content originated from
You might notice a mix of company networks and ISPs (Internet Service Providers) in your list of Company Networks. Here's why that is:
When someone views a page in Clinch Talent, the Networks tool identifies the IP address associated with that page view, and attempts to match that IP address with the company to which it's registered. However, the tool can only provide information on the IP where that information has been made publicly available. In instances where the information is not available, Clinch Talent will list the ISP with which the page view is associated instead.
To view more information on those people within a Network who have visited your campaign content, click on the relevant Network name.
On the screen that follows, click on the Prospect (number) or Candidate (name) to view their profile. Click on the Top Pages tab above to see the top performing pages for your campaign.
Where you see the Action Button above a chart, graph, or table, click to export the onscreen data as a CSV file.
